We are looking to hire colleagues to join our busy family run premium coffee shop in Newport..

The Ideal candidate..

The ideal person will have a love for customer service and a high level of dedication. They will be highly motivated, friendly and bubbly, flexible and positive, with a genuine caring attitude towards supporting and growing the business.

The role can be fast paced and very demanding at times, so the ideal candidate will be someone that works well under pressure and maintains a calm and positive attitude at all times.

Your flexible approach will see you turn your hand to a multitude of tasks, whether it’s baking fantastic cakes, making coffee, maintaining stock or encouraging customer feedback You will work as part of the team to ensure that every customer receives the very best possible experience.

While previous Coffee experience would be beneficial, No previous experience is required, just a passion for service and learning.

Hours of work

• Flexible hours between 7am-7pm Monday – Sunday

Main Duties

• Greet customers as they arrive in store providing a warm and friendly welcome

Take customers’ orders with care and accuracy

• Promote our products to customers and encourage customers to up-size
• Provide customers with any accurate information about our products
• Take payments and tender change
• Ensure that all merchandising and signing requirements are followed appropriately
• Ensure cleanliness of all work areas and equipment
• Handling and preparing food using the correct company health and safety procedures.
• Preparing hot and cold beverages using the correct company beverage routine and sequencing.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the store at all times.
• Ensure all company daily routines are completed within the correct timescales
• Ensure all food displays are maintained to the correct stock levels and are kept fresh and appealing at all times.
• Delivering world class customer service at all times
