Dragons CEO Stuart Davies said:

"The Friars Walk partnership was an integral part of our matchday experience last season, and we are thrilled to have been able to extend this for the new season.

"We especially enjoy working with Friars Walk as their range of shops, restaurants and entertainment complexes mean our supporters enjoy very different activations at each match. Along with our supporters we look forward to seeing what our various matchday partners come up with throughout the season."

Matchday partners will run supporter give-aways, promotions, competitions and sampling. Partners may also provide prizes for Dragons half-time competitions with supporters able to enter either on social media in the build up to the match, in the Family Zone before the match or by being spotted in the stands by the Dragons matchday camera crew.

Simon Pullen, Managing Director at Friars Walk said:

"We are really pleased and proud to be partnering with the Dragons again this year and see great benefit for both our customers and tenants in being associated with this great brand."

We wish the Dragons great success this year and look forward to attending matches with our retailers and giving them the support they deserve."

For the Dragons opening match against Leinster on Saturday 2nd September Friars Walk themselves will be the Dragons offical matchday partner. For the very latest news on our matchday partnerships throughout the season please follow the @dragonsrugby and @friarswalk on Twitter.

“Bringing the seaside into the city centre for a weekend is a fantastic way to mark the end of the holiday season.

“Children will love the beach, and there will be some surprise entertainment over the weekend for all the family.”
